Make barcodes in bulk from a spreadsheet

Paste a column from your spreadsheet or upload a CSV, and download every barcode at once.

Paste a column from your spreadsheet. A second column, if any, names each file. Letters, digits, spaces and symbols, up to 80 characters.

Up to 1,000 rows. Nothing is uploaded.

Paste a column from your spreadsheet or upload a CSV, pick the barcode type, and download every barcode in one zip. Each row is checked as you type, with problems listed by line number, and the first barcode is scan-tested so you know the batch will read. It all happens in your browser: your product list is never uploaded.

How it works

  1. Pick the type. UPC, EAN-13, Code 128, GS1-128, Data Matrix, Amazon FNSKU and every other type the barcode generator makes.
  2. Add your list. Paste one value per line, or two columns copied from Excel or Google Sheets: the value, then a file name. Or upload a CSV file.
  3. Fix any problems. Rows with a wrong check digit or a character the type can’t hold are listed by line, so you can correct them in your sheet. We add missing check digits for you.
  4. Download. A zip with one PNG per barcode, named after the second column or the value. With a paid plan, one PDF with every barcode laid out on Letter or A4 pages, ready to print.

Amazon FNSKU labels in bulk

Pick Amazon FNSKU, paste the FNSKU and product title columns from your Seller Central inventory report, and choose your label size and condition. You get one label per row, sized for a thermal printer or a sheet of labels. Download them as PNG files, or with a paid plan as one PDF or as ZPL for Zebra printers. The guide to printing FNSKU labels covers printer settings.

Tips for a clean batch

  • Keep numbers as text in your sheet. Spreadsheets drop leading zeros from UPCs (036000291452 becomes 36000291452). Format the column as text before you paste the numbers in.
  • One type per batch. Mixing UPCs and Code 128 SKUs in one list will flag the rows that don’t fit; run them as two batches.
  • Name your files. A second column with the SKU or product name gives each PNG a name you can find later.
  • Check one print. Before printing hundreds, print one barcode at its final size and scan it with the scanner you’ll use.

Questions people ask

How many barcodes can I make at once?

Up to 1,000 rows per batch. For more, split your list and run it again; each batch takes a few seconds, and nothing is uploaded, so there is no queue.

What should my spreadsheet look like?

One barcode per row. The first column is the number or text; an optional second column is the file name, or for Amazon labels the product title. A header row such as “SKU” or “Barcode” is skipped. Copy the columns straight from Excel or Google Sheets, or upload a CSV.

Is bulk generation free?

Yes. Checking every row, the scan test and a zip of PNG files are free, with no sign-up. A single print-ready PDF of all the barcodes, and Zebra ZPL files for Amazon labels, come with a paid plan.

Are my product numbers uploaded anywhere?

No. Your list is read and every barcode is drawn in your browser. Nothing you paste or upload is sent to our servers.
